I was out on a chilly 8am loop around the VA hospitals course before starting a twelve hour shift with the Michigan Air National Guard.
The 180 yard down hill fifth green was was covered with heavy dew. I hit my normal draw with a 4 iron and watched the flight path cut in from the left and catch the side hill in front of the green and hop toward the pin.
Even though I could see the entire green the sight of the ball was lost in the shinny dew and I figured it went just over.
As I walked up I could see a curved track in the dew 12 foot to the center of the cup. When I called my wife she said, "I told you it would happen when you were walking alone." Ha, I was with one of my unit members by chance and had the witness. 12 hours of duty were easy that day. B2
