April 23, 2011- I was playing with two of my golf group members. I hadn't had a very good day, which is not unusual. We were on the 11th hole at Whisper Lake Golf Club in Madison, Mississippi. One of my playing partners was close and I just said that "No one will get inside that." I had a Perfect swing and path to the hole. It hit close to the one already on the green and rolled. I saw it disappear into the hole. I started screaming (they thought I was going to hyperventilate) and only one of the other guys saw it go in. The other one, who was close, was looking at the scorecard and asked, "What happened? Did it go in?" It did. He did see me get it out of the hole. The rest of the day I was calling and texting people in between holes while we walked. A few weeks later a gentleman said he was behind us that day and heard it...meaning he heard me. What a moment. Never thought it would happen.
