SunCha Tindall First Hole In One at VA Course

On A beautiful unusually hot day at the Veterans Administration hospital golf course in Lakewood Washington I hit my first hole in one; it was the 8th hole at 137 meters using hybrid 7 and a Titleist Pro V1 ball. After a long rainy winter here in the great northwest the summer was finally coming, on an unseasonably hot day of 81deg my husband who is an Iraq war Veteran and I decided to play at the beautiful Veterans Administration hospital golf course. The pink and white cherry trees were popping in full bloom with there fragrance mixing in the fresh air coming from the Pacific Ocean and the gigantic old growth evergreen trees were providing shad.

The course was very crowded so the starter had paired us up with two very nice and well dressed older veterans from the Vietnam era. My husband and our new friends were getting on well talking about there experiences, they played good and I wanted to show that I could play well to. On the 8th hole my husband shot first then it was my turn, I hit the ball high and it took a big bounce just before the green when it hit the green it started rolling I saw the flag move and the ball go in the hole then heard the sound of the ball hitting the flag pole. I yelled hole in one and gave our new friends a high five and hugged my husband. There was a local veteran that likes walking the perimeter exercise course sitting on the bench resting and watching us, he had a camera and took a picture of me retrieving the ball from the hole. When I got to the club house the man that took the picture had told the staff about my hole in one and they where there to greet me with congratulations, he also went and developed the picture and gave me a copy.

At the club house I called my friends and invited them to eat Korean barbeque at a restaurant in Tacoma, after eating we went to a coffee shop and I bought everyone coffee and Italian ice cream. This was a great day for me and I would to thank Titleist for the Pro V1.
