Super Exclusive

I was invited out to play at the super exclusive Golf Club of Cape Cod by a friend. I work and play at a local municipal course so it was definitely a nice treat. Their course record is even par, so the fact that we had a forecaddy was an added bonus. I shook off the nerves of not belonging there on the first two holes with bogeys and followed it up with a par on hole 3. On the 4th tee, Nick, our 16 year old forecaddy told me the hole was playing 104 ( 111 with a little helping wind). I took out my gap wedge and hit it nice and smooth. The ball landed about 2 feet behind the pin, checked, and rolled back disappearing into the cup. Nick immediately sprinted to the flag and screamed out HOLE IN ONE. The high fives and erratic heartbeat ensued. My two playing partners went on to hit thier shots onto the green and as I walked back to the cart I took a picure of the hole from the tee. I drove to the green and snapped a pic of the ball in the hole, and then one of the card. Nick was excited as I was because it was the first one he had ever seen in person. I took the ball out of the cup with a smile that couldn't be wiped off my face for the rest of the day. I put the Titlest ProV1x with blacked out numbers in my shoe bag so i could add it to my ball shelf at home. I ended up shooting an 83, but the memory of the ace is there forever. Thanks for making great balls and being a part of that memory.
