I have played with the same group at Pinecrest Golf Course in Huntley, IL for many years. We all dread hole #11 which is a fairly long par 3 over water and well protected by traps. I am not one of the better players in our group, but on July 20th, I became the only member of our group to ever "ace" #11. It played at 192 yards and I hit my AP1 5-iron in the cup for the first hole-in-one in my life. Needless to say, the gang had several cocktails on me that day and this was an experience I will never forget! -Ken
