I was playing at Pontiac Country Club with one of my colleagues who is a physician. As we approached the eighth hole which was a 157 yard par three I pulled out my 7-iron. After hitting the shot I thought that because it hit the front of the green low that it bounced and went into the water behind the hole. I was searching for my ball in the rough and in the water behind the hole. After about 2 to 3 minutes of searching, the gentleman on another hole on the other side of the green began to tell me to turn around and go look in the hole. It was then I realized that the ball was not lost or in the water but it was actually in the hole. Of course I am eager to scream with excitement and fist pump as if I was Tiger Woods. My friend gave me a huge hug and we laughed all the way to the next hole. Needless to say this was the greatest moment of my life in golf and I will never forget it!
