The hook that landed the big ONE
By todd r On 4 August 2012
I was playing World Woods on the Pine Barrens course during an unseasonably dry day for Florida in the Summer. I came to #16 hitting first fromm 144 yards slightly uphill with a little breeze in my face. I have always enjoyed hitting high hooks of about 30 yards, so I grabbed my 9 iron knowing that if I flushed it, that was dead on yardage.
The Titleist ProV1 felt like butter when I hit it, and the flight was a big climbing hook. The ProV1 hit the green about 10 feet short of the pin and on the second bounce, which was about 4 feet right of the flag, the ball locked up and slid dead left and went right in the hole.
Thanks to Titleist for making the best ball in golf-the ProV1-not just for distance, but for accuracy, spin, and feel as well. Nobody does it better than Titleist and my Hole-In-One is proof.
Thanks,
