One Monday, Jan 2, 2017, my friends and I played Lake Jovita North Course in Dade City, FL. We teed off at about 7:30 AM, first hole a par 5. It was foggy and cool. The second hole, is a par 3, was playing 190 yards from the white tees. I hit second and used a 4 iron, normally would have been a 5 iron but a little cool and early in the round. I hit second, the ball started right but was drawing. You could barely see the flag due to the fog. We all felt we hit good shots, and headed to the green. As soon as we got to the green, we could see two balls on the green, relatively close, and one just off the green pin high. After checking balls, it was clear mine was missing. I was perplexed, feeling it must have kept drawing and was in one of the bunkers to the left. I was busy searching the bunkers when one of the other players said "look in the hole" to the guy closest to the pin. He announced "oh, oh, there is a pitch mark in front of the pin." He then broke out in a big grin, and said "Titleist 10" pulled it out and tossed it to me. I was more in shock than anything, and stayed in disbelief for about 30 minutes. It was my second hole-in-one, 10 1/2 years earlier at 172 yards.
