This is the Gods Honest truth...As i think of how many years I have been carring the number 8 in my wallet I now know WHY...In listening to a night time radio show, Coast to Coast with George Norey, a guest of his mentioned that the number 8 would bring some people good fortune. I took that to mean win a lottery or a monatary prize of sort. Believing it would do this for me I put a printed # 8 in a nook in my wallet ( which is still ther) and forgot about it, that is until now. The hole in one I had came on the 8th day of the 8th Month.

The following Friday, our Golf buddies play Skins and each put in $5 and total up the skins won and give out the cash while having a beer at the clubhouse. As their were 10 playing that day the pot was $50 dollars. On the last three holes I went par, par Birdie and that gave me two skins, as all the other holes were tied, the total came to $50 dollars which the men tossed my way.

The number 8 remains in my wallet with the hope that $50 was just a begining.
