There we were on a cold winter day at the Links of Galloway in Memphis, TN. I was with my favorite foursome, the temps were in the mid 40's and we all wanted the golf season to begin. We used the first hole to warm up and came to the second tee box. It was an 81 yd, par 3. I chose my cally Xr5 Gap wedge. Being women, we talk all the way until impact and I wanted mine inside Sandra's which was 10 ft from the hole. I swung and mine landed 15 ft below the hole and rolled, then disappeared. While the others were still solving worldly problems, Sandra said, "That went in", and my jaw dropped. Sure enough, it was an ace. There were screams, hugs and a call to the clubhouse to run a tab. I think I bought 6 hot chocolates and a diet coke as we were the only golfers on the course that day, luckily we had Fireball in our winter golf bags to celebrate!
