Our Saturday morning pairs match was tied going into 16, the most difficult par three at Santa Barbara Golf Club.
The hole was playing 180 yards dead into the wind. I hit a 4 hybrid which I aimed to the right playing for a draw.
The shot drew in beautifully and landed on the fringe just over the large trap that guards the right side of the green. The ball bounced once and rolled right at the hole.
When it dropped into the hole we all yelled in amazement. My partner and I also went on to win the match!
