I had been hitting a 9 iron on this hole and was having to swing pretty hard so this time I dropped to an 8 iron and backed off a little. To my surprise the ball landed about 10 feet in front of the hole and rolled right in. Two golfers who was waiting on the 18th tee had turned around to watch our drives and they began to wave and give a thumbs up. I was playing with 3 other guys so I had 5 witnesses.
It was my first and only hole in one until now and I turned 68 in January, and have been playing for about 16 or 17 years. It was awesome.
