On Saturday of Master's week I had a tee time with my dad. My wife, at the last moment, decided she'd rather golf that day than go into work, so she made arrangements for others to cover her shift. Only a few days prior, Jack Nicklaus had jokingly predicted making a hole-in-one before his Par 3 round on Wednesday, and then did it! As I got set for my tee shot on the 15th hole of our round, I say to my dad, "You know how Jack Nicklaus called his hole in one the other day...". My dad responded with, "Oh yea, is that what you're doing? Knock it in and I'll buy you a rack of ribs". Off it went with a gentle fade, hit the green, rolled for just a second and disappeared. So glad that my parents and wife were there to experience this first with me. And the ribs were excellent!
