The Players' Choice: 2018 Shriners Hospitals for Children Open

This week the PGA TOUR returns to Las Vegas, the city where Titleist first introduced the Pro V1 golf ball to the world. The Pro V1 was a runaway sucess at the 2000 Invensys Classic (the name of the Las Vegas TOUR stop at the time), with 47 players, including the eventual winner, switching to a Pro V1 the first week they could play it in competition. In the eighteen years that have followed, Pro V1 and Pro V1x have remained the best-performing and most trusted golf balls on the TOUR, around the world of professional golf and among amateur golfers of all abilities.

This run of success continues, too, at this year's Shriners Hospitals for Children Open, where Titleist is once again the overwhelming golf ball of choice among players with 75% of the field (99 players in the field of 132) trusting a Pro V1 or Pro V1x golf ball, more than six times the nearest competitor with 11% (15 players) and more than all competitors combined.

At TPC Summerlin, Titleist is also the top choice in hybrids (26) and irons, with 35 sets in play. Vokey Design Wedges topped the approach, sand and lob wedge (182) category and Scotty Cameron putters are the choice of more players than any other brand with 52 in play.
