Hole in one on 3rd November 2018, at the Dar es Salaam Gymkhana Club Golf course, Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. Hole No. 5 hole, Par 3, 119 metres / 130.14 yards. Course length - 6043yd/ 5534m. Par 71. It was a sunny humid afternoon with a gentle breeze (left to right) from nearby coast. I used a cally Big Bertha pitching wedge and a Titleist no.3 Velocity ball. I managed to get the perfect club head speed, connection and elevation on impact (felt the sweet spot) and knew immediately that the ball was heading towards centre of the green. As I was picking up the remains of my wooden tee, I heard cheering and clapping from our caddies nearby the green, and followed by high fives from my fellow golfers. It took a couple of minutes to sink in that I have just achieved my first hole in one! and wanted to tell the whole world! It's been about eight years since I started the great game of golf. It happened on 3rd November '18 with no.3 ball and my birthday on 3rd March. I will never forget the day.
