Frittelli Secures Maiden European Tour Victory with Sunday Charge

Titleist golf ball loyalist Dylan Frittelli (Pro V1), who started the final round two shots behind the overnight leader, claimed his maiden European Tour title after closing with a 5-under-par 67 at the Lyoness Open in Austria.

Frittelli carded six birdies in his Sunday charge en route to a 12-under-par 276 victory total, one shot clear of three players, including Titleist golf ball loyalists Mikko Korhonen (Pro V1x) and Jbe Kruger (Pro V1x).

The South African made a clutch par save at the 17th to stay at 12-under-par and lagged his birdie putt at the last to within inches, leaving himself an easy tap-in to secure the win.

“I’m just elated, I’m really happy with the way the week went,” Frittelli said. “Super stoked to get my first win on the European Tour. It’s been a long time coming and I am glad to be inside the winners circle. Hopefully this means big things for my career, get me in the Open Championship, move up in the Race to Dubai and open up some more doors further down the road."

Congratulations, Dylan!
