The Players' Choice: What's in the Bag at the 2019 John Deere Classic

A week after the 4th of July — and a week after some exciting golf at the 3M Open — the PGA Tour has made its way to TPC Deere Run for the 2019 John Deere Classic. One hundred-fifty-six players are competing in Silvis, IL, trying to punch their ticket to Royal Portrush just one week before The Open.

#1 Ball
Titleist is once again the most popular golf ball choice among players at the John Deere Classic, Graphic showing that Titleistis the overwhelming golf ball choice among players at the 2019 Memorial Tournamentwith 78% of players (121) in the 156-man field trusting a Pro V1 or Pro V1x golf ball, nearly nine times more than the nearest competitor with 14 players (9%) and more than all other competitor brand golf balls combined.

For the 24th time this season, continuing a trend of player trust and validation, Titleist is the #1 choice in the driver category at the John Deere Classic, with 44 Titleist models in play. Of those Titleist drivers, 39 were TS models (TS2 - 8 | TS3 - 30 | TS4 - 1).

Titleist is also the #1 choice among players in fairway metals (114), utility irons (33) and irons (44).

Vokey Design Wedges also topped the approach, sand and lob wedge category with 201 Vokey models in play (the nearest competitor: 66).

In addition, 35 players this week are trusting one golf brand, Titleist, from tee-to-green, throughout the entire bag — a vote of confidence that speaks volumes about the performance, consistency and quality of Titleist equipment throughout every club category.

As we get ready for another exciting week of golf at TPC Deere Run, let's take a look at the equipment that a few of these Titleist Brand Ambassadors will be relying on in Silvis, IL.
