What I am thinking your saying is that when you close the face it increases the loft. That is not true because a closed club face will decrease the loft and promote more of a draw.
It may just be something in your swing. You should do a side by side comparison of your old irons and your new ones and then go from there.

Me too. I love the look of the 913d2 and the face insert gives a lot more forgiveness tan the 910d2 and a lot more distance to.
For me, I prefer the look of the 913h (it's what I currently have) the 913h.d is not the thing I need and I prefer to have a regular hybrid. But if you like to hit your hybrids on the tee, I'm sure that you would prefer the 913h.d. It's your choice but…
