50+ degrees in north central Illinois in January. Had to play. A short but well guarded hole I hit a wedge that tracked using the wind to land just short of the pin and one hop it dropped straight in.
Rubber mats and not artificial turf? One range I used had those, and I didn't check my clubs, but they transmitted too much vibration to continue. Not a good sign for the heads. I now only use use mats with enough surface to mimic turf.
Of course. No adjustments during a competition round, just like putting with a 3W when you heave the putter into a pond.
