• RE: New U510 1 Iron - Actually useful or just bag vanity?

Choice of clubs in the bag are dependent upon many things including the weather and the course being played.
I play mostly links golf and some people may recommend a 1 iron. But its lower ball flight can work both ways.
One needs to remember that a lower…
  • RE: New T100 irons vs AP2

My understanding is that the new T100 irons utilize the existing AP2 technology in a more compact and thinner soled chassis. Further enhancements to the "modern blade" iron.
  • Fitting Event : Friday

Booked in to the Titleist Fitting Event at ForeGolf Chester on Friday (9 Aug)... All the new irons, Utilities & hybrids all waiting to be "tested"... Rigorously!! May even get to grips with a Teryllium 22 putter - It could be the closest I ever get…

Yep, its all about the bounce and where it creates impact on the sole. Definitely just as important, if not more, than the loft on wedges. Consider getting fit so you can try out difference grinds for chipping, pitching, and sand play to best match your…
  • RE: Show my your SC Putter rack and Putter

Nick rack, Harry! Congrats. One of my favorite things is to see how people have their golf setups in their houses. Always looking for new ideas!
  • RE: Jobs that allow you to golf a lot

When I was in my 20's I worked for an insurance company--Sales--and most of my appointments were in the evening. So I was able to play a couple days during the week, we usually had Wednesday morning and Friday afternoon game.

    For the past 4 years…
  • Another for AVX

Bought a sleeve of the AVX balls Sunday, August 4th, and on hole #14 at Summertree golf course, hit a 149-yard 9 iron and made a hole-in-one.
