Feeling excited!!! Got my new SC Newport 2 yesterday and headed straight to the course with it. Made my very first putt from 10ft out!!! Great 1st impression. Gonna head back out today.

I just went through the reshafting process with my original AP2s and the trackman results were eye opening to say the least. After hitting a couple hundred balls it was very clear there was a huge difference among the KBS tour 130x, Project x LZ 6.5 and…

Depends on his posture, height and arm length, etc. You can always put a shaft in the 7 iron and at stock length and see where he is and go from there (probably what I’d do if I didn’t go to a fitter).

It was an awesome win. I have played the Tiburon Gold course several times and some of the shots they were making (in variable conditions) were truly impressive. For a course that’s just under 7400 yards, it’s good to see that finesse trumped power. I…

One thing that wasn’t mentioned above is that you may not need 3 additional wedges for your setup. If you’re very comfortable hitting a knockdown with your pw, then a pw/53/59 type setup (like Stricker carries) may be more than sufficient and leave room…

Really depends what you’re going to be using the vokeys for. I have soft stepped Dynamic Gold X100 in my 3-pw and also in my 52, but S400s in my 56 and 60 SM5s. I tend to take more full shots with my 52; I have had a few sets of irons/wedges over the…

Just had a Titleist club fitting at S&A, best thing ever, corrected my shaft weight which brought me a graphite shaft, giving me better flight and distance with the ball cant fault a good fitting to make you feel more comfortable when playing your round…

I would encourage you to get properly fitted. That is more important than the choice between the 716 and the 718. If your clubs are not fitted to you, it will be much harder for you to improve and the enjoyment will be sucked out of the game.
