If you shorten the shaft by 1/2 in. to 44.50. Which is the driver length I use. For each 1/2 inch shorter the swingweight will be reduced by 3 points. Add 2 grams of weight to head for each point. 6 grams would be correct. A repair shop will have to add…

Hi, Mike. While the V1 (and occasionally the V1x) is my ball of choice, I happened across a 2018 Velicity off the fairway of the first hole, while playing the local par 3 on Sunday, and played the remaining 8 holes with it, to see what it was like.
