    You are right get fitted, I always do and finally have come up with what is right for me. I finally put away my fairway and use hybrids.

    917D2 (11.25*) 816h1 (16*) 816h1 (19) 913H (23.25*).

    I may loose a few yards using the 16* hybrid vs a 16 Fairway…

    It is the only piece of equipment you use on every shot! So get some advice on which ball would be better. But even you can do your own test by playing the V1 vs. the V1X side by side and you will probably like one better than the other.

    It is standard, common practice to oil some putters and wedges as a preservative. I can’t imagine any performance altering affect on the clubs.
    Any residue would be gone with the first divot.
