I agree with Wade - I have the 915H 18*, and while I love it the 816H1 is even more of a wood-like hybrid than my 915.

I've been playing with a 917D2 10.5. since they first were released! I find miss-hit more forgiving and distance slightly better than my 915 D2 10.5.

I agree with everyone else. If you align it in the desired setting than when installed it's fine but like mentioned if it's moved in the settings the spine/PURE'ing is then "useless" (not really though in my opinion). Maybe 10 years ago PURE'ing a shaft…

Definitely the old oil can Vokey is one the best "stock" finish offerings maybe ever by a company. And surprising durablet for a non-plated finish. Plus once it does start to rust it blends well.

Really wish they'd bring it back.
