    The 917s have a tendency to hit the ball lower. Might increase the loft and see what happens. I was fitted at a Titleist Thursday fitting and am still tweaking with my numbers once I put it in play. It takes a while to break in any new club.

    I had the same experience wht this shaft and the 915! It was a great shaft in my 910, incredible feel and good distance/trajectory. In the 915, it didn't have any feel. ... clunky. I am going to try it in the 917.

    The technology is so different with the 917, a good fitter will look at how you do with the 909 and the Voo-Doo and use that as a starting point to fit you for a 917. A good fitting should take upwards of an hour with more than one shaft. You might…
