Both balls are great. I prefer the X because it is a little longer off the tee and I like the hardness of it. Recommend both balls to everyone.

So for the past couple years I have been only playing X, but with the new advances made with the V's it's hard to ignore. Love both and will continue to play both regularly.

The ProV1x's have some wicked spin anyone who wants the ball to sit on the greens and still be able to roll in the fairway that ball is for you
