I've also been doing my research for a new 3 wood. I've hit a few now and I'm looking at going with the 917 f2.

For shorter hitters I'd suggest 3 hybrids would be better than loading up on wedges.
My preference is for 4 wedges with 10 yard gaps. I prefer…

I sent my studio design 2.5 in and it came back pristine. Even sent instructions and a cleaning cloth to keep it looking great.

    Jim,

Two things not mentioned on your trackman data was the launch angle & angle of decent. It may be time for a 917 driver fitting as well as ball fitting.

I tend to launch the ball a little higher than I like (14*+) with driver, leaving me with…

I think the spin issue may be a little misleading. The pro V1 will spin less with the longer clubs, because the core will be activated more. Since both balls have the same cover I believe they should perform similar in spin around the greens, as we are…

I was on your golf ball testing program last year and if the new Prov 1 is any thing like what you sent me to test then the new ball is going to be fantastic. Good luck and I am waiting for my next test

I was fortunate to be a tester for the new ball a few months ago and was thrilled with the Pro Vix I used. It definitely was longer, still had a great feel and felt really nice around the greens. It was perfect for me and can't wait to get some AND…
