This is actually what Trackman recommends based on the distance gaps for touring pros. Their gap is about 15 yards between clubs, but they have alot of distance to cover.

For me there was the same question when I got fit.
As I am already a long hitter, my fitter suggested to take the 15*, as more distance would not help me much in the game, and it will be slightly easier to hit it of the deck

But suggest to ask your fitter…
