Wow, thanks for all the replies, I guess I am not alone. For now I will experiment with the 915D2 12, cut it to 44 inch and change the weight on the bottom so it will be back to D2 and maybe ad a little loft. If that does not help I will try the 13…

I had the strap issue and did a quick fix that worked and hasn't slipped yet: set you strap where you want it and then run the remaining tail of the strap BACK through the plastic clip and it will hold. I'll send a picture when I get home later if needed…
