I made my first hole in 1 today at the wayne county golf course in fairfield il. Hole was playing 165 yards hit a 6 iron. I usually play a pro v 1x but today used a titleist velocity. I am 58 years old. What a thrill!!!!

I replace my wedges once I notice the grooves becoming slightly worn. Everyone hits different amounts of balls on ranges etc... so it will be a difficult challenge to make a general rule...Some tour players I have spoken with replace wedges every 60-90…

You can get refurbished balls in some stores half the price but you don't always get great balls probably best to stick to new balls
