• First hole in one

At Tradition golf course in Laquinta CA, 163 yards, 23 degree rescue, pro v 1x ball, drew in, ball was tracking and while I did not see it go in, but I did not see it go by the cup.
I was pretty sure though and as I got closer I didn't see it!

  • Scratch That Off My Bucket List

Was playing in the men's league on February 3rd 2015, as we were standing on the Par 3 11th the tees were up and the yardage was 135, I used my Ap-2 PW and hit a pretty good shot and I saw the ball hit the green rolling towards the flag. I didn't think…

  • Re: 915 D2 Driver Shaft Issues

I agree. I also had the Diamana Red in regular and it was too soft. I should have got the stiff flex and that probably would have been equivalent to the Bassara regular flex.

  • You Know You Have a Good Product When....

Was on the range at the club today. Club pro was discussing why he changed from Titleist range balls to Taylor Made. He said the biggest reason was he "lost" WAY more Titleist balls than TM. With a smile he said "never knew I had so many members with…
  • Re: Iron Spin Rates

I have always heard that a good rule of thumb was x1000 based on the iron. A 3 iron should spin in that 3000rpm range and an 8 iron should spin in that 8000rpm range.
  • The ace that won the playoff

I was only 13 at the time and was somewhat new to golf. I had my own clubs and had been begging my dad to bring me golfing for months. We finally went on May 25th 2012. We agreed to play nine holes and after nine we were both tied at 72! We decided to…

  • Re: Another round of prototype balls just received!

    Hi David

What a great surprise to receive sampler boxes of 2015 Pro V1's and Pro V1x's! A big thank you to Titleist.

Tested them in a recent round and found them both to be on the money. Control, feel and spin for short shots and putting was…

  • Re: team titleist copy cat

I've played every club and ball out there over the years, and nothing beats the ProV1x for me.  I do have a TM SLDR driver because it plays better for me and my rebuilt swing due to my accident.  As soon as I can find a new Titleist that I can hit as…

  • Re: Driver Weight

Thank you Chuck. Luckily we have a fine indoor facility nearby so  can hit balls every week or so. Also, spent a week in Orlando but today the high will be around zero degrees. 40 degrees sounds like heaven!

  • Re: SHANKS!!!

Shanks, hosel rockets can be extremely scary. I generally get them hitting practice wedges at home.

I just try not to panic, and keep on swinging. I believe it is something minor in my set up.

Since you had a great round, the swing is in there. Just…
