The 2012 US Women’s Open at Blackwolf Run was over 100 every day. I was a volunteer. On Day 3 I was on the Irish Course and launched the 8 iron head about 35 yards. Further than the ball went. Shudda kept the clubs in the hotel room instead of the trunk…

Being as they are over 15 years young, as Dale said, counterfeit is not likely. Most counterfeits reveal themselves in short order. Besides loft/lie adjustments you can have the shafts pulled and re-glued while getting regripped. If you love them, worth…

Guessing it was the 2017 release that the X became the higher flight ball. Consistent since then.

The V or the X may be longer for an individual, but no one ball is longer for everyone. The 2023 V may still be your best choice for distance.

2 key pieces to keep in mind are the site needs to be a strong Titleist supporter and I would now say a minimum of 2 full courses and some sort of a par 3 course. Along with adequate rooms to handle 80-100 guests.

I’ve only ever been to a fitting that uses 7 irons only. The only exceptions have been at titleist fitting days where they wheel out the whole line of equipment then they have popped in long irons to try out.
