  1. Anyone have any idea when the new 719 titleist irons will be released? They say you can test “new” equipment at the Turnberry Titleist event later this year, new irons?

The next set of irons will be the 720's which we'll start to see mid / late 2019 with a release around September / October time I believe.

The new equipment that will be available at Turnberry is, we assume, the 919 drivers and fairways as they are due out September / October 2018. I cant wait to hit them!

Yes, what Tom C has said fits the Titleist schedule. The 718 release was for irons and hybrids, available from November 2017. The next release will be Drivers and Fairways later this year. As always, I’m looking forward to seeing what new technology has be used...
  5. Thanks guys, that's settled the dilemma of pushing the button on a new set of 718's or waiting till the next iron release.
Now for the next dilemma........Ap2, AP3 or MB, AP2 combi?
  6. Don't discount the TMB's, they certainly gave me the best performance out of the current range and improved all of my Trackman stats considerably (previously using 716 AP2's).
They're pricey but I couldn't be happier with them. Having a lengthy fitting session with the local rep was invaluable and has given me huge confidence that my irons are a perfect fit.

Good luck with it and looking forward to your updates.

I would say go and get fitted for them! I've been using 714 AP2's and 716 TMB 2-5 iron with KBS shafts. I hit the AP2's, AP3's and T-MB's and was fitted for a full set of TMB's with Modus shafts, they performed better for me over the 2's & 3's!

Let us know what you decide!

Definitely go visit your local fitter or attend a Titleist Thursday event......I made the change only a few weeks ago from 2008 AP2's to the 718 AP3's and couldn't be happier... Smashing clubs.

    Best of luck.

Couldn't agree more with Declan R - go to a Titleist Thursday or a Titleist fitting centre as they will have all the head and shaft options and expert knowledge ...
  10. I am glad to see the game improvement irons getting more classic instead of all the craziness. For the 720 AP1 irons, Titleist needs to made the number one black instead of red and also try to figure a way to cover the cavity with a fake thin top. The AP3's are nice but the word titleist is too big.

The various manufacturers need to make irons more sleek. At least Titleist tries. The ugliest are TM.

If previous product release cycles hold true, you will see them turn up on Tour in July and they will be available for fitting August-September time frame.
