Scotty Cameron Customisation from the UK

Paul C

Hi all,

Has anyone here in the UK had their Scotty personalised and if so could you help with a few details?

Roughly what were the shipping costs to get it back to Scotty Cameron and did it reach there safely? Who did you use? How long did it take to before you got it back? Can you post a pic of your finished baby for some idea's?

Its been a while since I used the custom shop, mainly for COA'ing tour putters but I can give you some tips.

Cheapest way to ship is to pull the head and ship the head only. Especially if you are having a restoration and they will reshaft it as part of the resto and dump the original. I have pulled heads of tour putters that were not being restored but paid to have them reshafted, new grip installed along with a new cover and COA.

Cant remember exactly on costs but head only on a fast UPS service (I usually use, put in the package info and they give you a lot of options) can be around £20-30.

Times vary, again I'm not up to speed on restorations etc but it can be a couple of months although I think I read they can be 12 weeks now?

What putter are you sending and what are you thinking of having done?

Might be worth contacting Custom Cameron they might be able to help??

They wont, they have no affiliation with SC, just someone who set up their own website, buying cheap off ebay, facebook, Cameron forums and direct from studio releases and then offering all items on their site for ridiculous mark ups.

I was just about to have a look at that so thanks for the update.
Don't think I would trust anyone other than Scotty Cameron themselves to do it as the putter was my wedding present from my wife so no chances can be taken with this!!

Thanks also Tom C for your previous information, I kept meaning to reply but have been so busy but had some time today.
I am a little concerned with pulling the head due to my previous comment about the sentimental value (it might be silly but the whole putter is what she bought me and it means everything to me because she knew how much I wanted one).
I'll have a think about that and make a decision but it will definitely be done just to finish it off?

Oophf, 12 weeks. I can’t miss my putter for that long. But would love some customisation on it though.

Also about taking out the shaft, i guess I would let that be done by an experienced club builder before I damage anything. Or is it easier than it seems?
