  1. I am 57 and born in 57 so this year had to be the one.

My first hole in one come on a friends 60th Birthday 08/04/14 and I told her I did it for her....... Well for both of us. My 2 playing partners both missed the green, I took out my 4 rescue club and nailed the green (177 yards) and a group behind me said they could not see the ball on the green so as I drove off I figured it hit the green and bounced off. As I got closer I noticed the way the divot was sloped and I knew it was in the hole as no way would the ball bounce with a divot like that.

My first hole in one was quite exciting as I did not know if I should jump up and down or scream with joy or be a gentlemen and calmly walk off the green....... NOPE !............. I jumped up and down and yelled for 10 minutes and danced like a little boy...lol

I looked in the hole and you could see my Titleist # 2 looking back up at me.

Now I just hope I do not have to wait for another 57 years for the next one.

Congratulations Ron...  It is always nice to hear someone getting a Hole in One as it gives us all hope !

This game is a tough one with lots of highs and lows. A hole in one is probably one of the highest highs one can get.

PS: I hope you remembered to fix your ball mark on the green after all the excitement :)

  3. Funny you should mention about the divot as my buddy repaired it for me,  I did forget but then again the beer cart was there and I was going for a cold one.

    Thanks for the congrats.

Congrats!  FYI... Titleist has a registry program for your Hole In One, it's somewhere on this site (Customer Service tab or FAQs tab) and the pewter "Hole in 1" bag tag is very impressive..... got me one!

How do I register a Hole-in-One that I made with a Titleist golf ball?

I just got my third hole in one today. This one was 198 yds with a 3 iron hybrid. All have been with Titleist golf balls. The last two have been with a Pro V1. Until today I have always taken the ball out of play. Today I just forgot and almost lost the ball to a watery end but it skipped across the water and landed on dry land. That ball just wanted to take it's place next to the other two hole in one balls.
