Playing a round this weekend. Temp supposed to be 0*C. Anyone else ever played when it’s that cold?

Sorry, can't say that I have. My limit is 7 deg. C.

October 24th and I was out for 18 holes today. It was at zero when we started but felt a lot colder with the wind chill. There was only a slight dusting of snow on and off so it did not impede the game. It did get up to 3 degrees by the time we finished :)

I haven't done it personally but I've seen people playing in the snow!!!
  5. Really wanted to play today, but woke up at 6:30, 30km wind, raining and 2 degrees. I went back to bed.

Well - the results are in and I am officially crazy :)

Our course had a shoot-out event today and even though it was snowing here in Barrie this morning I went to the course to see if I was the only fool. As it turns out, despite the cold weather and the slight snow that was falling there were 4 others that came out to play !
Turned out to be a nice day as the temps actually climbed up to 5 degrees and the snow stopped so three of us actually continued playing after the shoot-out ended to get in a full 18 holes. I finished the last three holes two under to shoot a smooth 75. I haven't scored like that in months :)
This is a strange game. Perhaps the golf gods decided to reward me for sticking it out and supporting a club event :)

Couldn’t do it. The cold I could have handled. It was also raining so we decided to go to the simulator. Maybe next weekend
  9. Yesterday, I played 18. 6 degrees, and very little wind until the last 2 holes. Today is even better, but I have to work. Any time you can break 80 it's a good day. It is even more satisfying to do in adverse conditions. Shot 78 yesterday with 27 putts.
