    Just wanted to say hello and that I’m back in the scene after many years off.

    Definitely missed the game. Now that I’m a member at a local club I look forward to taking full advantage of that. I still recognize some forum members from the past who may remember me.

    Welcome back Shawn !!! Hope you got some good rounds in this summer. The weather has certainly been great, and with the pandemic, there was certainly not much else to do :)

    Nice to hear from guys. I’ve actually gotten about 16 round in so far so it’s been great. Still have time for a few more rounds.

    I’ll be picking up my membership for next year so lots of golf will be in the books for next year.

    I am also back after a 12 years break, was only able to play 4 rounds. My swing is somewhat still there but very inconsistent. Topping a lot of the shots or hooking them badly. Despite the poor score, still very enjoy the moment out in the course! Glad to be back!

    Also using the same old sticks before dropping off. Would not mind to use the technologies to make my game easier. Since my ball striking is so inconsistent, just not sure when is the best time to go get fitted properly. Should I go get fit during the winter while I will work on improving my swing at home doing drills to rebuild the basic fundamental or wait till spring time. Reason I am thinking of doing it earlier is hopefully can catch those end of season sale to save some dimes, so I could spend more money next year to the course.

    Thanks for the replies everyone. Great to hear from you all.

    My game has been going pretty good. Just getting my swing dialled back in. Still using the same clubs as I had when I first joined. Gonna look at getting fitted with a Titleist rep for the upcoming season. Are we still doing the fittings at Eagles Nest?

    There is a new place in town here called the Linx Social for indoor golf. So I’ll be keeping my swing going through the winter with that.

    Shawn: In response to your question about Eagles Nest, yes - the National Fitting Center is still in operation. I am not sure when you were there last, but they have really updated the facility and have a beautiful indoor fitting facility to enhance their winter fittings. I'm sure you have seen from my earlier posts that Chris is no longer there, but I am sure whoever has taken his place will be extremely capable and just as professional :)

    Thanks for the heads up Darius. It’s been a very long time since I’ve been there. Probably going on 6 years ago or so. Too bad Chris isn’t there anymore. He was a great guy and very knowledgeable.

    Definitely looking forward to seeing the new and improved fitting centre. Can’t wait to get fitted for some new gear.

    Hopefully we get a Team Titleist sneak peak at the new clubs.

    It’s been a great season so far and still going strong. Weather here is looking good for the next couple weeks so still plenty of golf to be had.
