Just received a sleeve each of the new ProV1 and ProV1x by courier. I look forward to giving them a true test. Always love my Titleist balls. Although I am currently committed to the AVX Yellow both for the performance and the visibility, I am always willing to see if I would benefit from going back to the ProV line. After all - it's a Titleist !!!! Thank You TT :)

A note to Titleist: I have given both the new ProV1 and ProV1x balls I received by courier back in May. I took some time to truly test as I wanted to be alone so I could hit my current AVX as well as one of the other two right after each other from the same spot in the same conditions. I have to admit I like the feel of the new ProV1x compared to many earlier models. I find it feels much softer off the club face than before so that is a plus. The ProV1 still allows for some great control around the greens like always. Perhaps it is my swing, but I must be honest - I still like my AVX over either the ProV1 or the ProV1x as it seems to me to be right in between the other two as far as feel and control. However, I found I was consistently getting more distance from the AVX from both my woods and my irons. Not talking about a lot of difference, but combined with carry and roll my AVX would win out. I will be interested to hear what others have to say about their experience :)

It's great to have multiple options so each of us can use the ball that fits our individual needs. For me it is the ProV1x but that should not influence anyone from changing what works for them. Happy to hear that the AVX is right for you and wishing you many fun rounds of golf using that great ball.

I switched to the X from the Pro V1 two years ago and I was concerned about the feel off of the wedges and my putter. The new X reminds me of the old balata but very durable and soft.

Got ball fit yesterday and the ProV1x is still giving me the best combination of distance and spin on the green.

I haven't spent much time with the AVX but I did spend quite a bit of time testing the new Pro V1 and Pro V1x this spring. Pro V1x was my preference, gave me better numbers on just about all clubs. Also spent quite a bit of time with the Pro V1x Left Dash. The Pro V1x and the Left Dash have both been a great fit for me. I have been using the Left Dash for most of this year but will likely move to the Pro V1x for the summer months. A little more spin is going to help now that we are in the heat of the summer and my course is starting to get pretty firm and fast. It's really great to have the choices that Titleist offers in the premium ball space. I feel like their current options are better than ever for fine tuning launch and spin.

I have been playing the AVX this year and have really liked it. I'm tempted to test the Pro V1X. Just have not had time

I’ve been using the Pro V1X Left Dash. Really love this ball. Titleist balls have an option for all golfers.
