Hoping the white boxes will show up before the leaves cover the course this fall.

Received one at TTI Ireland. Very interesting feel - almost "V"-like - and IMO a distinct improvement if these are indeed AVX protos. Will be following the comments for sure.

Yes they are a hair harder but less spin compared to the Pro V1

Definitely AVX identical dimple pattern TM tests indicated hair longer in comparison to 24 AVX (which was a fantastic ball) and compression may be 1-2 points higher (felt just a touch clicker off my NP2 putters)

I did a reply in the forum in the thread one my findings. I personally found the 25 Pro v1 the best they have ever released... very accurate.

and I LOVED the 24 AVX. I will buy some but for me playing the AVX since its inception, the 24 version was the best and most accurate and LONG for me and I am not a high SS player

    Merry Christmas

I'm hoping to see a white box as well. The new Left Dash is out... one of my favorite golf balls. Would be perfect for fall gall when the conditions are a little softer.

Saw a FB post, it looks like they are out in Canada. It's been several years since I seen some....
  7. Got mine today. First time in a few years. Very excited.
  8. I have played 4 rounds with the new ball. Have not lost any. Quite certain I have the next generation AVX. My index is currently 8.8. All 4 rounds have been in the mid 70’s, 76, two 77s, 78.
New ball is definitely longer than my current ProV1, maybe as much as 10yards off the tee, iron shots also longer. Ball flight is lower, Stopping distance has not really changed. Putting is good.
A couple short chips got away from me, but we have had rain this week, and I am thinking the ball skidded off the grass.
Overall, I think I am going back to the AVX, and keeping my ProV1s in the bag.

    It Is the new AVX.

I received 6 of them and still have 4 left. I really really got on with the 24 AVX big time and shot some of the best scores of my golfing career with them, I had a week of 70's scores with the new ball. I was on a total heater and handicap dropped to a 7.1. (for a week and a half LOL)

    I think it flies longer.

TM data gave me a 3 yard carry average w/8 iron. Spin was similar to the previous model however decent was slightly more which was really nice

Wedge spin was approximately 225 rpm higher w/new ball on average (10 shots back to back w/ 60* SM10) and launch and decent higher ( roughly 3*)

Driver is where I am inconsistent as I have a 2 way miss and my numbers stink. Compared to a Pro V1 it does fly slightly lower and spins less (but this controls my 2 way miss) therefore this is why I play the ball. I find I can hit it longer and keep it in play more compared to a pro v1. The X spins so much for me I cannot keep it in play and I personally like a slightly softer ball.

The cover and feel feel a "touch " harder (compared to previous gen) however still in the same feel as the softer AVX which I like Its funny online and in person fitting they say to play the longest ball. With a SS of 75 w/8 iron and 94 w/driver the X is the shortest and skinniest, Pro v1 next best (I can keep it in play) but the AVX goes the longest, I can spin it on greens with a 7 iron, and ir works wonders with the wedges.

Pretty hard to beat for me

Just my opinions on the new ball. I will though probably try to buy as many dozen 24 AVX from golf town when they go on sale when the new gen comes out. The last 2 gen of AVX were simply incredible

    Merry Christmas

To add to my previous comment...

I have found the 25 Pro V1 though to be a very accurate golf ball. I will indeed play that as well however it is not quite as long as the AVX for me

That being said the R&D in Titleist balls in incredible as I spend a lot of time in a TM working on my swing and looking at things like numbers etc.

Sorry to have not mentioned this in the previous post

I found the 25 Pv1 excellent 23 not as good as the 21 You can pick up things on the balls if you hit them in the TM and look at the numbers

    AGAIN MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!
