Shafts for MB712

    Thinking about getting a set of of MB712 with project x shafts. Today I am playing miz mp-68 with Nippon 1150 stiff, these shafts are nice but a bit "unpredictable". In my 910F (17°, played at 16.25, C2 setting) I am playing Project x 7-hc3 6.0 (half inch short, with the 9 g weight). I really like this shaft and my normal shot with this club is 225 yards. My question is this, if I go with the project x steel shaft in the MB's are 5.5 or 6.0 most similar to my 7-hc3 6.0 shaft? Planning to play them 1/4" inch short.

    For the most part, if you have a 6.0 in your driver, then the 6.0 in your irons should be fine.  I would say 5.5 may work well in your irons if you have a smoother tempo with your irons then your driver.  That being the only reason I would recommend a 6.0 in your driver (quicker tempo) and 5.5 in your irons (smoother tempo).
