    I have heard the great results after being fit. I currently have the original ap1 irons (not the 710's). I was thinking of getting the new 712 ap2's. I was wondering would it work for me to get my specs now or wait and hit the new irons and also does austads fit titleist clubs?

    I have had many people come to me to get fit for first and second generation AP1 irons and leave the fitting with AP2's.  Never the other way around.  Not my doing, just a performance issue.  Now with the coming of the 712 AP1's this will change.  With a release date of November 18th I have already fit/sold 6 sets of 712's. (4 sets AP1, 2 sets AP2)  The 712 AP1's are so good I would not give up on AP1.  This the best offering yet.  Definitely wait to be fit with the new 712's and let the performance of the product drive your decision.  PS. The AP2's are still awesome.  You and your fitter will know what the right club is for you after a full fitting session.
