Cathi, I have a Matrix ozik Xcon-5 shaft that I had in my 910 D2 driver. I now want to use that shaft for my 910F 3 wood. My question is can I have it cut down to fit my 3 wood, and does it have to be tipped? That's what my pro shop said, it has to be tipped. Thanks in advance.

Hi Larry, Typically, we would have tipped the Ozik shaft an additional 1/2" for your 3 wood, but it does not have to be tipped that extra 1/2". It can just be butt cut to length. If you have any doubts or think it will play too soft, leave an extra 1/2" on the length and you will have the option to send it back to us for tip trimming and still end up with the proper length.

Thanks Cathi, so am I hearing that I can just send it back and you will cut it down and tip it for placement in my three wood? Is there a charge for that? Thanks

Cathi, I checked with my pro shop and they talked to you guys. They are going to take care of it. They will be sending it to Titleist to get it cut down and tipped. Thanks again, and as always you guys are GREAT!!
