im looking to get a complete new bag and fitting, im currently in FL so im a long ways from both the tour fitting facilities. what is gonna be the main difference between what they could offer me and what an advance fitter in my area could offer me. any help would be greatly appreciated

Our two tour facilities are the best equipped and have some of the best fitters in the country.  This is where our Tour pros come to be fit and have their equipment checked.  They use a trackman and fit your drivers, fairways, hybrids and irons on pristine fairways.  There is also a wedge area where you can hit to different greens and they will fit you to find the best wedge out of the bunkers.

If our Tour facilities are too far, there are several Advanced Fitters in your area.  The closest would be Joe Colbert over at Bloomingdale Golfers club -813.655.4653,   Chad Jones at The Concession Golf Club -941.586.1008 and Chris Plummer at the Palmer Legends CC -352-753-5310.

thank you i have actually sent an email to Joe Colbert,   yes it is far and a little more pricey for my military budget currently but if my club fitting experience is gonna be a ton better flying out. i would gladly wait a little longer and save up the cash to make a trip possible.  my main question is what is gonna be the biggest difference between the two, or even if i go to a titleist fitting day at a course or range near me.  Just looking to know how much more different the experience is gonna be and how much different my clubs could come out. a new bag will cost a good chunk of cash so i wanna make sure im getting the clubs fit perfect to me from head to shaft to grips

The Tour facilities have all heads and almost all the shafts that we offer at Titleist.  The fitters are hired exclusively as fitters and that is their job.  They fit Touring professionals as well as amateurs every day.  A full bag fitting (minus the putter) will take about 3 + hours. You will be treated and experience fitting just as our Tour players do.

The Advanced fitters we have are very good, but their shaft selections are more limited.

Our free Fitting days should not be substituted for a fit as these are "quick fits".  They are usually 20-30 minute fits that will give you an idea of what heads and shafts might work best for you, but are not in depth fittings.

Another option is to go to our Regional fitter in your area.  We have five Regional fitting centers in the US and these centers will have more options than an Advanced center and almost as many as our Tour facilities and Vans. The regional fitters in your area are Craig Allen and Curtis Leggett at Sea Island Learning Center on St. Simons Island, GA.  Their number is: 912.638.5119.

thank you very much i think Sea Island Learning Center will be my destination for my club fitting. they seem to have a wonderful reputation and tour players get lessons from there staff. i will make a call to them and ask a few questions and set up my appointment with them.  also does Titleist  do a military discout or anything for the military.

Hi Kyle,  I think you will be very happy with Craig and Curtis.  Here is a story that we did on Sea Island in our Team Titleist  forum:  http://www.titleist.com/teamtitleist/b/tourblog/archive/2011/06/27/the-sea-island-golf-learning-center.aspx.  We don't have a military discount although if you purchase through your base, prices are usually better and you do not pay tax.

Great info thank you for all the help. Just one more question. So when I do my fitting let's say at regional center will they give me a print out of every club I need and what shafts and all the info that I could just bring back to base and have the pro order with the rep. Is that how it would work

Hi Kyle, They will give you all the information on your fitting so that you can place your order at the base. Let us know how the fitting goes.
