    I just purchased a SM4 54-14 & 58-9. I'm thinking the 54 has too much bounce. I play in Ontario, Canada and most courses have thick lush fairways and I plan to use the 54 out of the sand as well. Can anyone help before I hit it.  Thanks.

    I have a cc 54.14 and it doesn't have too much bounce........especially if I had thick lush fairways

    You want a little more bounce on those type of fairways to little and you dig in to deep.

    From what you are describing, the 14* of bounce will assist you in lush fairways and bunkers.  If you feel you have too much bounce, then I would recommend having a Club Fitter check your bounce.  If he and you feel you are more of a "Slider/Sweeper", then that much bounce may be too much.

    I have SM cc 54-11 bent to 55 and it works just about everywhere. Can't speak with authority on the SM4.
