  1. I was wondering about the fitting exPerience at the Manchester Lane facility in Fairhaven, MA.

How much does it cost? Is that cost credited towards purchase? Can purchase be made directly from Titleist or must you go through a retailer? If direct through Titleist, is it still 7-10 days for delivery or is it any quicker?

    Thank you in advance.

    Justin,

The cost is $200 per fitting and is just a fitting fee (does not go towards the purchase of any clubs).  Once you get your specs from the fitting, you would take them to an authorized Titleist retailer, who would place the order.  Depending upon the specs that you have, usually orders will take 2-3 days in house plus shipping.

Wow!!  What a really great experience.  My fitter was Bubba Kroeger and he was fabulous.  I showed up with a nice set of Ping Irons, hybrids and woods.  We started with the Irons and it wasn't looking good for Titleist at first, but Bubba started bending heads and changing shafts and surprisingly to both of us ended up in the AP2 with a graphite shaft.  I was sure I would be an AP1 candidate but the numbers said otherwise.

We went to the hybrid next and Bubba found the perfcect shaft and hosel setting to gap the next club in the bag, we had some problems with the three wood at first so we moved on to the driver. In the process of putting together the 9.5 D3 head and shaft, Bubba was able to dial in the three wood.

I spent around 3hrs. on the range and hit around 150 Pro V1's.  It was challenging physically so be prepared.  We finished up in the office with some nice parting gifts. It was worth the time and money and I would recommend to anyone.  Thanks again Bubba for a great experience.

Hi John,  Thanks for the post!  I passed it on to Bubba this morning and he said "Thanks!, it's always nice to hear good feedback".

It's like driving range Mecca isn't it?  Bubba did my fitting too, and I can't tell you how happy I was am with my clubs.  The facility is so cool, and they make you feel like you're on the PGA even if only for a couple of hours.  Did you go over to the short game area?  I wanted to set up a tent and just live there.  It's pristine!  I'm glad you got to go and I highly recommend it as well.

    Josh,

I didn't go to the short game area, but it was very cool with the huge buckets of Pro V's.  Driving range mecca as you said.  I will place my order soon and I am sure I will be pleased.

Just another reason to go back!  You're sure to love your new sticks.  I love my AP2's.  The 2* flat that Bubba came up with has helped me a ton.  Congratulations and post some pics when they get in!

    Hi Justin,

I had my fitting in May with Karen Gray and it was an INCREDIBLE experience as I posted! With my 2 new SM-4 Vokey wedges and 910 D2 driver, I am hitting it consistently ~198/210 yds right down the middle, even with my fade! I NEVER got this performance from my old driver and cannot say enough about how the day and "pro" treatment was! I will be back for an iron fitting for sure and the 100+ mile drive was well worth it! More KUDOS to Karen and Andy and the staff at the facility,

I took the specs to our golf distributor that I/we always deal with and all clubs arrived as ordered in about 2 weeks!

    Enjoy the tour experience!
