  1. Hello,

I’m writing to inquire what the default swingweight and max swingweight would be for 718 AP2’s built -1/2” short with each of the following shafts.

KBS Tour Stiff -1/2” short (standard swingweight? / Max Swingweight?)

KBS C Taper Lite X-Flex -1/2” short (standard swingweight? / Max Swingweight?)

  2. Hey Guys,

I just wanted to reply to my own post to post an answer to the question. I was nervous about swing weights and my pro suggested getting them as heavy as possible.

With the 718 AP2 with KBS C Taper Lite in X-Flex -1/2" short, when ordering they told my pro that they have a system that spits out the range of swing weights they can accommodate based on the components and the heaviest they could accommodate was:
    C9 in 718 AP2 5-9 iron - with KBS C Taper Lite in X-Flex -1/2"
    D0 in Vokey SM7 46* & 52* - with KBS C Taper Lite in X-Flex -1/2"
    D2 in Vokey SM7 56* & 60* - with KBS C Taper Lite in X-Flex -1/2"

Hi, We can build to D1 in the Vokey 46° and 52° and D3 in the 56° and 60°, but C9 is correct in the irons. Those are all with standard grips. You can use a lighter weight grip such as a Multi compound to get to D0 on the irons and one additional on the wedges.
