I've been trying to locate a venue for a Titleist Thursday fitting. I'm not seeing the same ones I did last summer. I'm looking for one in Oregon. Perhaps they haven't started yet in the northern states. Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks, Ron

    Hi Ron,
As we move from winter into spring, you will start to see more events listed. For Titleist Thursday events, the courses may not be the same as last year. It requires a commitment on the part of the golf course as well as the proximity to our Team Titleist players. Keep checking in on the site as we will be adding more by the end of this month. www.titleist.com/.../appointments

Looking forward to these popping back up. A fairway wood is on the spring list. I have had great luck with the Thursday events for my TMB and the TS2.
  4. What are everyone’s thoughts on the Titleist Fitting Thursday’s vs going to a fitting experience say like a club Champion? Was curious to see everyone’s thoughts.
  5. The big difference one will promote only Titleist product and the other will try every product.

It really depends on the person fitting you. I was fitted at Club Champion in January but the fitter wasn't able to beat my current 2016 M1 with a stock aldila rogue shaft. I'm scheduled for a Titleist Thursday fitting on 5/30.

Hmm. Price? TT's are free. I also am a strong proponent of watching the ball flight down range and hitting irons from real turf. 15 feet off of a mat loses a dimension of observation, even if the Trackman helps me visualize. If I was a 5 hcp trying to get to a 1, and I wanted to use Titleist equipment, then I would pick Manchester Lane/TPI because the outdoor spaces are amazing. As a mid-handicapper, the attention to me and the options available have been more than adequate at Titleist Thursdays. In comparison to some retailers with only shafts and heads that match the stock items on the floor, these more exotic fitters like CC offer a premium service but almost always indoors.
  8. I agree with you on hitting them off the turf vs the mat and into the net, I did the PGA Superstore tour van fitting experience for my titleist irons last year, and it was eye opening on how much the different shaft options and their different flights. I was thinking of doing the Titleist Thursday’s to get my wedges fitted.

I just tried out the TS2 driver in Arizona last week. I absolutely love it. I will be picking one up soon.
