Hi, so I’m about 99% sure I’ll be out in Southern California later this year. I was thinking about getting fit over at the TPI. My question is i know that i would buy a driver/fairway metals. I’m kinda about 70-75% on getting new wedges and not sure about irons yet. Should i do the whole fitting still or just do what i know I will be buying?

    Amanda.

If you do two at $250 each, the full fitting at $600 will just be $100 more. If you just do one, you can always catch a Titleist Thursday to get fit for the other clubs. There are usually some at The Grand in Del Mar.

A full bag would be about 2.5 hours. That's a whole lot more strokes than a couple of rounds of golf. I think the bag fee is about $500 and separately the woods, irons, and wedges are about $200 a piece. Considering the next irons are due in September for fitting, wedges around March, and woods the following September, I'd only get fit for what I know will be the current models when I buy them.

Oh and i forgot to add that i would like to do a Scotty fitting also, which i would more than likely purchase since my putter now needs an upgrade. I would be out there after the new irons come out.

The SC Studio is a nearby shop to TPI. Separate fitting charge from the TPI package. It may be tricky to be able to schedule both sites at times convenient for one trip. Both are top-end spa like experiences. You may also want to consider going to a Cameron Showcase partner near where you live. The one 50 miles from me does the whole physical assessment with the K-vest and all the data on my stroke. It was both a fitting and subtle tips to make my stroke more consistent.
I've had my woods fit at TPI, irons at a Titleist Thursday, putter at a Showcase, and fortunate to get wedges done at the Vokey/Pinehurst event. I have been completely satisfied with the results at all these levels. Enjoy.

I just booked a fitting at the TPI, it’s not until December though. But I’m probably gonna do the Cameron Showcase Partner for a putter fitting. Super excited.
