Own a 909D2 with a stiff Titleist Voodoo shaft.  Considering re-shafting with the Aldila NV 65S.  Difference in shaft weight is about 5 grams.  If factory installed, would the NV shaft have required a different Swing Weight screw than the Voodoo?  If so are the screws available on a after market basis?

In general, it takes about 8 grams of shaft weight for one swingweight.  On the 909 drivers, we do not have swingweight screws available.  They were used only for fitting purposes.  We can, however, make your swingweight heavier if you need.

You can make the swingweight heavier by adding lead tape or injecting rat glue or rattle stop into the head through the port in the heel (this is how titleist does it)

Don't want to increase the swingweight. Actually concerned that the swing weight would increase when I re-shafted with a lighter shaft.  Was planning to replace the Titleist Voodoo (72 grams) with an Aldila NV 65s (67 grams).  Although the overall weight of the club will go down, thought it would increase the swing weight because more of the total weight would be centered in the head if the weight of the head was not adjusted to make it lighter.  That's reason I asked about availability of the swingweight screw .  Thought it could be changed to lighten the head weight to match the new shaft and maintain the current swingweight.  Since the 5 gram change in shaft weight would result in a less than one swingweight change, it may not be an issue.

  5. Hi Team, does it mean I can change the swing (eg. from D4->D2) if I have the screw for 909D2?
