My driver and hybrid (along with the 3 wood) are x-flex shafts and I hit them great. My driver head speed is about 117 and ball speed about 163ish; drives are about 295-305 and usually in the fairway so those shafts seem appropriate. My irons are still S-300's; the ball flight is super high and I feel like I am having to take a longer iron than need be, thereby putting me at a deficit. I also feel I have to work harder for the accuracy with my irons than any other club in the bag. I am thinking of putting x-100's in my irons to see if this will help lower my ball flight a bit and help ease the accuracy. Thoughts? Should iron shafts correlate with wood and hybrid shafts?

Iron shafts don't necessarily correlate with driver shafts but it definitely sounds like you need at least s400 or x100 shafts at least from an accuracy perspective.  You may also check lies and lofts and see if you need to deloft irons.

I would tend to agree that a x 100 shaft would be a better suited iron for you.
